William Curtis "Billy" Darsey, Jr.

Mr. William Curtis "Billy" Darsey, Jr., age 65 of Cleveland, Georgia passed away February 24, 2021. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Curtis Darsey, Sr. and Martha Parker Darsey. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Hester Darsey Taylor. Billy retired from Union Local 728 and was a member of the Griffin Primitive Baptist Church. He enjoyed flying with his father, fishing, drag racing, and trips to Pigeon Forge and the Biltmore Estate. Survivors include his wife, Karen Martin Darsey of Cleveland; son, Kevin (Lori) Darsey of Milner; grandchildren, Dylan Darsey, William Darsey and Abigail Darsey, Megan Darsey all of Milner; brothers, Donald Darsey of Jackson, Ronald (Denise) Darsey of Sunnyside and Franklin (Carmen) Darsey of Jackson; step-children, Lindsey (Shane) Jones of Monroe and Cody (Grace) Martin of Carlton; step-grandchildren, Lexi and Luke Bishop, Alyssa, Savanna and Techoa Jones, Brody and Boone Martin; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021 - 3:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
