Annie Jane Reynolds, of West, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, McGregor. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery.
Annie was born on October 13, 1940, in Honey Island, Texas, She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Reynolds and Gertrude McKinney Reynolds, and her twin brother, Sammy. Annie worked with her mother in their Vider Child Care Center, but mostly she loved taking care of her nieces and nephews, and her great-nieces and great-nephews. She enjoyed writing poetry.
Annie is survived by her brother, Charlie L. Reynolds and wife, Betty, of Wimberley, Texas; sisters, Birdie Klander of West, Texas, Rebecca East, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Deborah Goss, of West, Texas; five nephews, six nieces, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
