
Antonia Domingues of Moody died Monday evening, August 6, 2012, at the age of 84. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor. A Christian Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 10, 2012, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jose Azcona officiating. Interment will follow in Moody Cemetery.
Mrs. Dominguez was born January 17, 1928, in Kennedy, Texas, the daughter of the late Felipe Garza and Josephine (Flores) Rios. In 1958, she moved to Moody from Sabastan and married Jose Domingues January 17, 1976, in Moody, Texas. For fifteen years, American Desk in Temple employed her as a welders assistant. Throughout her life, she enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
Also preceding her in death was a son, Rudolph Garcia; two granddaughters, Emily Garcia, Margaaret Hernandez; four grandsons, Felipe Hernandez, Vidal Garcia, Jr., Joe Luis Garcia, Adam Zungin.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-six years, Jose Dominguez; a son Vidal Garcia and wife Rosa of Moody; four daughters, Susan Hernandez of Moody, Enedelia Mendoza of Bruceville-Eddy, Maria Salas of Moody, Linda Zungin and husband Art of Lubbock; thirty-three grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
