Betty Sue Bailey, 82, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2019 at First Assembly of God Church, Moody, Texas with Pastor Keith Stevens officiating. A visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to the funeral service, at First Assembly of God Church, Moody, Texas. Interment will follow in Moody Cemetery.
Betty was born on April 7, 1937, in Waco, Texas, to Charlie Thomas Bailey and Jewell Brooks Bailey.
Betty loved everyone and lived life to the fullest. She was always smiling and laughing and was the most patient and sweet spirited person you could ever meet. Even though Betty was born with many challenges in her life, it never stood in the way of her happiness. She loved to color, watch cartoons, dance, sing, and be the center of attention. If someone had a camera, Betty wanted her picture taken. Betty loved her baby doll, Molly, and her favorite color was blue. She was very spiritual and had a close relationship with Jesus. She loved praying for others and loved it when others prayed for her. Betty was our angel, brought joy into the lives of everyone who knew her, and will be missed by those who loved her.
Preceding Betty in death were her parents; brother, Kenneth Bailey; and sister, Lois Neill.
Survivors include her twin sister, Mary Lou Beaty; brothers, Robert Bailey and wife, Sue, Archie Bailey and wife, Ann, Billy Bailey; niece and caregiver Diana Beaty; and many special nieces and nephews.
