Billie Joyce "BJ" Davis

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 14 at 10am at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor with Jason Phillips officiating.

B.J. was born in Waco on August 6, 1943 to parents Rufus Carroll and Joyce Lanell (Walker) Anthon.

She attended Waco schools and graduated from Waco High School. B.J. was a loving, generous and gentle soul. She enjoyed horseback riding and watching sporting events featuring her beloved Dallas Cowboys, but her passion was Baylor Softball. She adored the Lady Bears!!

B.J. also loved to take pictures and would share them with others. She had a special place in her heart for her family and her extended family, the Baylor Lady Bears Softball team.

B.J. was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Milton Carroll Anthon.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Joycie Pustejovsky and husband Gary and Donna Holmes and husband Dub; grandchildren, Carly and Christopher Pustejovsky and Kaitlyn and Jeffrey Holmes; sister-in-law Missy Davis and friend, JoLeen Eiklenborg and sister-in-law Paulette Anthon; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Baylor Lady Bear Softball team.

If desired, memorial contributions in B.J.'s name may be made to the Crawford United Methodist Church, Crawford, TX, the Baylor Excellence Softball Fund or consider becoming a member of the Baylor Softball Diamond Club to support the Baylor Softball program.
