Mrs. Louise Lehrman, 81, of McGregor, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at St. John Lutheran Church, Coryell City, Texas with the Reverend Dr. Christopher Richmann and Pastor Wray Nunn officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Cole Funeral Home, McGregor, Texas.
Louise was born on February 23, 1939 in Coryell City, Texas to Walter Hoppe and Minnie (Doty) Hoppe. She was a longtime resident of McGregor. Louise married the love of her life, Hubert Lehrman on June 5, 1954 in Crawford, Texas and they celebrated 46 years together. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Coryell City, Texas. Louise retired from Smead Manufacturing after 20 years of service. She sold Avon for many years and she enjoyed dancing, crocheting, sewing, and cooking. The thing Louise loved most was spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Lehrman was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lehrman; parents, Walter and Minnie Hoppe; brothers, Oscar Hoppe, Walter Hoppe, Jr., Alvin Hoppe, and Robert Hoppe.
Survivors include niece, Donna Burns of Gatesville; nephews, Eddie Hoppe of Gholson, Walter “Pee-Wee” Hoppe of Lorena; great nephew (grandson), Joseph Argabright and wife, Crystal, of Gatesville; Alex Argabright and wife, Yessi, Brandon Hoppe and wife, Penny, Britney Hoppe, Tina Donaldson and husband, Jeff, Ty Hoppe; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
