Marie was born November 21, 1937 in Mowata, Louisiana to John Frey and Helen (Jenkins) Frey. She graduated from Iota High School in Iota, Louisiana in 1956. Marie was a retired homemaker and she loved Elvis. Her passion was sports of all kinds.
Preceding Marie in death were parents, John and Helen Frey; sister, Jolene Guillory; and brother, Dana Frey.
Survivors include sons, Brian Barr and wife, Lori, of Hewitt, Texas, Craig Barr and wife, Michelle, of Bridgeport, Kansas, David Barr and wife, Denene, of Niles, Kansas, Gordon Barr and wife, Machel, of Gypsum, Kansas; daughters, Elizabeth Williams of Oglesby, Texas, Suzette Hillyard and husband, Paul, of Java, Virginia, Leslie Barr Williams of Stafford, Virginia; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marie's memory may be made to First Baptist Church, Oglesby, Texas.
