Ralph Edward Goff

At the age of 67, Ralph Edward Goff of McGregor passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, with his wife and family by his side, as was his wish after a courageous battle with COPD and Cancer. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor with Don Bohne officiating. Piano music will be provided by Joyce Vahrenkamp. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Cole Funeral Home.

Ralph was born June 8, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Richard and Rosemary (Brennan) Goff. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. For many years, Ralph worked in various areas of maintenance in New York and Texas. On September 22, 1995, he married Bobbye Walters in McGregor.

Survivors include his wife Bobbye; two sons, William Goff and wife Leah, Roger Goff and wife Katy both of San Antonio; a step-daughter, Connie Brumley and husband Randy of McGregor; eight grandchildren, Ethan Goff, J.B. Glass, Christopher Goff, Ciara Goff, Michelle Jackson and husband Russell Jackson, Shannon Hall and husband Gabe; six great grandchildren, Tristine Jackson, Skylar Jackson, Colton Jackson, Colby Jackson, Dakota Hall and Isaiah Hall.

Casketbearers will be William Goff, Roger Goff, Russell Jackson, Jack Terrell, Tyron Wehring and Marvin Vahrenkamp.
