

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 22 from 11am to 1pm at Cole Chapel in Moody. A Celebration of Robie's life will begin at 1pm following the visitation time. Pastor Jared McClure will officiate.
Robie was born May 8, 1965 in Fort Belvoir, Fairfax County, Virginia to parents Leon Gustive Speck and Annie Fay Raabe Speck. Robie's father was in the military so she moved around quite a bit in her lifetime, living the life of a typical military child. She graduated from Jack Yates High School in Houston, Texas and attended City College where she studied Business. Robie was a part of the Job Corp in Oklahoma. She worked at Valero in Temple for 3 years and also for a brief time she was part of the staff of Visiting Angels.
Robie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arnold and Hettie Raabe and her sister, Susan Lynn Speck. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her 2 sons, Jonathan Hulce and Christopher Hulce both of Oklahoma; her daughter, Susan Lynn Hulce of Moody; mother, Annie Fay Raabe of Moody; father, Leon Gustive Speck and wife Wanda of Pasadena, Texas; 2 brothers, Ronald Edward Speck and wife DeAnna of Temple, Texas and Roland Speck and wife Teresa; sister, Tina Elizabeth Worth and husband John of Florida; grandchildren, Zane Hulce, Jastin Hulce, Peyton Hulce and Kalli and Kiara Moore; aunts and uncles, James and Donna Raabe of Moody and Lyle and Shiela Speck of California; nieces Angela Kirkland, Michelle Kirkland and Diamond Gray and several additional nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins. She is also survived by dear family friends Larry Murphy, his daughter Robin Murphy Monk, Miss Addie Markham and Shaini and Danny Moore.
Robie's sweet smile and beautiful soul will be missed by everyone who knew her and loved her.
