Willie leaves behind family members Lisa Carey, Judy Schraer and many good friends to miss him.
Willie served 11 years in the USAF from 1955 to 1966. His duty took him to several stations including Wyoming, California, Maryland, Texas, Germany and Vietnam where he was stationed in Saigon during the “Fall of Saigon.”
He ended up back in Texas and started a nearly 40-year career with what is now L3 Harris. Willie was one of the original employees of ESI in the Dallas area. Eventually, the company moved to Waco and was known as ESI –Chrysler Technologies, Raytheon and L3.
A good man, a good life.
He will be missed
Per Willie’s request, there will be no funeral services or visitations.
A memorial gathering will be planned at a later date.
