Alice Joyce Christian Catlett

CATLETT. It is with great sadness that the family of Alice Joyce Catlett announces her passing on March 23, 2018, at the age of 90. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Perkins Glover Catlett. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Kramer and Deborah Lindsey; a son-in-law, Rickey Lindsey; grandchildren, Scott Wilborne and fiancee, Lori Steele, Stephen and Leslie Schaufelberger, Ashley and TJ Thompson, Heather and Justin Huddleston, Ricky Lee and Hannah Lindsey; and great-grandchildren, Cameron and Conner Wilborne, Kaitlyn Bevan, Megan Steele, Dalton, Devyn and Harley Schaufelberger, Tyler Stout, Kendall Huddleston, Cutler Lindsey and Riley Thompson. Joyce loved being around and talking to people; she truly never met a stranger. We will forever cherish the lessons she taught us and the memories we have will be carried in our hearts. She loved spending time at her campground with family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Woody Funeral Home - Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23116. Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at the funeral home. Interment in Signal Hill Memorial Park to follow.
