Carol Simmons Townes

Carol Simmons Townes, 77, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Annie Simmons. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 30 years, David K. Townes; special cousin, Patricia Bradley; and several cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., with Words of Encouragement at 7 p.m., at Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23116.
