Howard Bracey Terrell

Howard Bracey Terrell, age 93, died Friday, February 24, 2017 in Hanover. Howard was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He had been a bookkeeper for Spotless Stores. Howard was a long time member and Deacon at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Richmond. He is survived by 5 children, Betty Terrell Myers (Jimmy), Barbara Terrell Joyner (Donald), Richard Allen Terrell (Denise), Pamela Terrell Cross (Wirt) and Daved Brian Terrell (Bobbie); two brothers, William Vinson Terrell and Robert Donald Terrell (Judith); 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many friends. Howard is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Adelle Terrell; son, Gordon “Billy” Lewis Terrell; parents, David Edward Terrell and Edna Lee Terrell and four grandchildren. Visitation for Howard Bracey Terrell will be 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, February 27, 2017 at Woody Funeral Home – Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Cool Spring Baptist Church, 9283 Atlee Station Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116. Burial will be Forest Lawn Cemetery.
