My heart goes out to the family of Jean. I know you will use the your memories to help ease the pain.

I feel very fortunate to have known you. Allison was very lucky to have you as her nana. You taught her how to read. I give you the credit for helping her make the honor roll year after year. She used to tell me that my bbq was almost as good as nana's. I still use coffee grinds in my baked beans and call it your secret recipe. We will miss you! A part of you will always live on in our lives.

Dear Ken, 
My husband John and I heard the sad news today.  We are deeply sorry.  Please accept our sympathy.

We have known Jean for 50+years. We vactioned together, raised kids together, took trips together' ate out together and just enjoyed Jean and Ken's company. She was a excelent cook and had us over often for a meal. Jean was allways smilling' and good for a laugh. She and Ken were dear friends of ours and we will miss her .

You and your family have our sympathy and wish there was something we could do to ease your sorrow.  Please know we are thinking of you.  You all have lost a very special Lady!  We were lucky to have known her.

Where do you start, with so much to say about jean. She was very loving of her family, She was a magician in the kitchen,could not do enough to help people with a need,loved flowers and a pretty yard, and enjoyed having family over for meals and for social times. She truly seldom thought of herself, but rather, would prefer to do something for the pleasure of others. I will sorely miss my Friday night ritual of going out to eat at a restaurant with her, and going on trips to Seattle, Hawaii, and other places with her. Looking back, we really had some special times, and did a lot of memorable things together. This is the sad end to a very important step in my life, the furthering of life as an extension of our own. We had four great kids, and 7 terrific grand children, what a wonderful thing to know that we, as a pair; are responsible for the legacy of our family as it is.They are all so diverse, unique.talented, and very loved for all that they are! God bless her and take her with you to heaven!

One summer day, when I was only 15, a friend told me about a cute girl who lived around the block -- that I had to meet her. When we arrived at the house a few minutes later she wasn't there. She had just left with her dad, but Jean invited us in anyway. Jean sat us hungry kids at the backyard table and fed us -- Doritos and Coke :).  Jean treated us like family; like we were old friends even though we were total strangers. I still remember this day very vividly, and I will never forget it. You may know how this story turns out. I married that cute girl, Jean's beautiful daughter Lisa. Jean was like a second mom to me. I miss Jean dearly and will always remember her forgiving nature, constant smile, and how she was always so incredibly kind to me -- since the first day we met. Rest in peace Jean.

Nana- there are so many memorable moments in my life that you created for me..riding bikes..always making sure that I had a straw in my tea :)..the chalkboard in the garage!..the roller skates that I HAD to have..the dinner table talks--"jiggers!" Hahah..your famous BBQ..my dirty martini mix..wwe wrestling!..oh, the list could go on for days. You were a wonderful grandmother..and I am lucky enough to have my own sweet angel looking over me now. I will miss you terribly..but my memories of you will stay alive forever. "Love you to the moon and back--more than all the stars in the sky.." RIP Nana. Love you, always<3
