June Serrett

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margie Serrett; brother, Jeff Serett; and sister, Betty Caldwell.

June was the office manager of Signal Hill Memorial Park for the past 9 years and worked for Westhampton Memorial Park prior to 2014. She loved to spend time with her family and especially looked forward to the many gatherings during the holiday season. June also had quite the nutcracker collection. While Fall and Winter were her seasons of choice, she would never pass up a trip to the beach where June would visit as many lighthouses as she could find. She was an adventurous, fun-loving woman with a heart of gold who will be tremendously missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Allan Cress, Tara Jane Richardson; siblings, Lonnie Serrett, Linda Cook, Lola Serrett (Frankie Dietrich); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a great great nephew, a large extended family, and a host of friends.

A visitation for June will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23116.
