Lawrence Harvey Boles

Lawrence H. Boles, 73, of Mechanicsville, born April 6, 1937, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick Canada, went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents Vinal and Gladys Boles and two brothers, Arnold and Paul Boles. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Boles, daughters, Cynthia Boles and Pamela Witt and her husband David, grandsons, Samuel and Matthew Witt, and two sisters, Peggy Green of Saugus, Massachusetts, and Eleanor Enenkel of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. He was a former U.S. Marine, and a member of Cool Spring Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He inspired so many people, living with MS for 35 years without ever complaining.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10, 2011, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Road. Services will be held at 11am, on Friday, March 11, 2011, at the funeral home with interment to follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
