Mechanicsville, VA - Lorraine Garnett McDonough passed away, Sunday, May 22, 2016 at her home. She was born October 29, 1920 to Clarence and Marguerite LaFond Garnett. Mrs. McDonough had retired as a Supervisor for the Federal Reserve Bank after many years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Shiles of Mechanicsville and granddaughter, Cristen Coukos of Mechanicsville. Mrs. McDonough is preceded in death by her husband John Edward McDonough.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Woody Funeral Home-Atlee Chapel, Mechanicsville, VA.
