Lucille Emma Ross

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Flossie and William Haynes; her brothers, Alfred and Tommy Haynes; and her beloved husbands, Jesse West and Richard J. Ross.

Throughout her life, Lucille found joy in the simple pleasures—losing herself in a good book, spending time outdoors, and appreciating the beauty of everyday moments. Above all else, her greatest pride and joy was her family. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.

Her children and stepchildren survive her: Mary Herendeen, Linda West and her fiancé, Tommy Pettite; Debra West and her husband Kenneth Ramsey; Steven West and his wife Christine; Charles Ross and his wife Tammy; and her stepson Richard Ross and his wife Annette.

Lucille also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Zachary Herendeen, Trevor Herendeen, Jessica West, Jordan Ross, Christan Antonini, Christi Bruens, Stephanie West, Michael West, Melanie West, Dustin Ross, and Tyler Ross, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Her legacy continues through her beloved great-grandchildren: Mason Brown, Helena Batiste, Jacob West, Gabriella Silva, Daniel Silva, Aaliyah Cardona, Brooklyn Smith, Bryson Morten, Aiden Antonini, Corbin Antonini, Hudson Ross, Layla Ross, Harper Ross, Kira Bruens, Remi Bruens, Emerson Bruens, Stratton Bruens, Reval Bruens, Ayla Ross, Gunner Ross, and Blaze Ross, who brought her immeasurable joy.

She is also survived by her dear nieces and nephews: Jerri Haynes, Vicki Haynes Bowers and her husband Bob, Donna Haynes Marx and her husband Keath, Patsy Haynes Clarke and her husband Billy, and Michael Haynes.

Lucille Emma Ross will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lucille's Visitation at Woody Funeral Home- Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA, on Monday, February 2nd, from 1 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 PM.

Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond, VA, on Tuesday, February 10th at 1 PM.
