TALBERT, Marjorie W., 83, resident of Mechanicsville, was a homemaker and grandma. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William A. Talbert; and her son, Billy Talbert. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Turner, Ann Lecarpentier and her husband, Donnie; grandchildren, Sandi Chesworth and her husband, Evan,Jenny Turner and Emily Turner; one great-grandson, Draven; sisters, Gracie Vaught, Libby East; brother, Steve Wilson; seven nieces and 11 nephews and their children.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Woody Funeral Atlee Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. _
