Paula B. Parks

Paula Blevins Parks died peacefully in her home on March 29th 2019 in Sandston, Virginia at the age of 66. Paula is survived by her son: Jason Parks and her grandson William Parks. She is also survived by five siblings: Donna, Peggy, Gayln, Sarah and Paul. She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father: Betty & Paul Blevins of Richmond, Virginia. Paula was born on December 23rd, 1952 in Richlands, Virginia. She graduated from Highland Springs High School in 1970. Paula began working as a teller for Central Fidelity Bank and worked her way up to Branch Manager. Later, she worked at Dot’s Back Inn as a waitress and bartender. She had an infectious laugh that would light up a room and she always made friends wherever she went. She loved her son and family with her whole heart, but she especially loved her grandson who was the light of her life. A graveside service is scheduled for 1pm on Friday, April 26th at Washington Memorial Park. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Paula’s life. The family insists that people make donations to the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation in an effort to support people living with RA in lieu of sending flowers. http://rheum4us.org/contribute/donate/
