Born on December 28, 1958, Bobby grew up in the tomato fields of Hanover County, where he learned the values of hard work, family, faith, and community—principles that shaped the man he became.
Whenever someone asked him how he was doing, his answer was always the same: “I’m loving life.” That simple phrase reflected the spirit he carried every day and the optimism he shared with those around him.
Bobby was a lifetime member of the Black Creek Volunteer Fire Department and helped found the New Hope Community Church Food Pantry in New Kent, Virginia—serving his community with pride, dedication, and a generous heart.
He was a beloved brother, grandfather, father, husband, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Redd” and Pauline Sisk, and by his wife and the love of his life, Sheila Sisk. Bobby is survived by his two sons, Robert James Sisk (Alicia) and Douglas Bryant Sisk (Rosie); eight grandchildren; and his three sisters, Cathy Kirkland, Ann Mayer, and Theresa Wood.
Bobby’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered always. His legacy lives on through all who were blessed to know and love him.
