Virgil Lambert, 91, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Violet Lambert. He is survived by his children, Linda Przybylko (Przy), Courtland Lambert (Peggy), and Michelle Phillips (Mike), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a loving Shalom Baptist Church family. The family would like to thank The Haven and Memorial Regional for their loving care.
He was retired from EI DuPont, and a member of Shalom Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Rd. Services will be held at 2pm, on Friday, December 23, at the funeral home. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
