Remember Maxine and think of her quite often...especially
when I recall the great persimmon bread she would make
and always bring me a loaf of it...so, so good...this time of
year brings back the most vivid recollection of Maxine as
I can now , with my "mind's eye" , see her walking up the steps
to the balcony of Cypress Community Church to present me
with her delicious tasting persimmon bread...Maxine was a
joy to be around, always positive and upbeat, always with a
smile, never without a great word of encouragement to all.
