

Thomas “Tom” E. Devlin, age 91 of Medford, Oregon passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Medford. He was born January 21, 1935, in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Catherine and Thomas Devlin. Tom is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Beth” Devlin; children Kathleen, Eileen (Jere), Denise and Tom (Carey); 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Richard Devlin.
Growing up in Trenton, Tom developed a lifelong love of sports and played baseball and basketball as often as possible. He graduated from Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA in 1956. On May 4, 1957, Tom and Beth were married, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love and devotion.
Tom’s professional career began at United States Steel, American Bridge Division. That job took Tom, Beth and family to Los Angeles, CA, and then to Northern CA where they settled and lived for 30 years. During those years, Tom’s career shifted to employment at Bostrom Bergen Metal Products in Oakland CA, where he developed and led numerous significant projects, Tom played a key role in establishing and managing Bergen Southwest Steel, a metal fabrication plant in El Paso, Texas, where he oversaw the production of steel towers for wind turbines used in the United States and Europe—work he took immense pride in and which afforded him the opportunity to travel internationally.
Tom had an immense love for his entire family and his passion for the sport of golf was unmatched. Throughout their lives together, Tom and Beth had the opportunity to travel internationally and enjoyed frequent vacations to Maui, Hawaii.
