Elizabeth J. Weed

Born on May 27, 1927 in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Cecil F. and Mable S. (Mahnke) Baldwin and step- mother Bertha (Seitz) Baldwin.

In 1946, Elizabeth graduated from Medina High School. She was a devoted mother and homemaker, raising 3 children. Later, she was employed at the former Bells, Quible Car Sales and lastly she retired from the Garrick Insurance Agency. She was a former member of the Medina Methodist Church and a member of the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, camping at Silver Lake and wintering in Florida.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Lawrence) Fox of Medina and a son, Brian W. Bradstreet of Rochester. Grandchildren, Casey (R.J.) Overholt, Tyler (Rene’) Fox and Trevor (Blossom) Fox. Brothers, Roger (Sally) Baldwin of Hilton and Hervey (Joanne) Baldwin of Michigan. Also, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is predeceased by her husband, Herman A. Weed, a son, Bruce W. Bradstreet, and 2 brothers, Lester and William Baldwin.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, from 4PM-8PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14098.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to express their thanks to all of Elizabeth’s caregivers, especially, the ones who made her last few months dignified and comfortable.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice.
