Aaron Carnell Williams

Aaron Carnell Williams, 90, of Memphis, Tennessee died on July 14, 2014. A Marine Corps Veteran, Mr. Williams was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and the Normal Masonic Lodge #722. He retired as an equipment specialist after 36+ years of service from the Memphis Defense Industrial Plant Equipment Center (DIPEC). His family will receive guests on Tuesday from 5PM – 8PM and funeral services will be on Wednesday beginning at 10AM all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. Burial will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife Demetra Williams, parents, sister and two brothers. He is survived by his daughters Carolyn (Ray) Mullins and Paula (Dan) Mayhew; five grandchildren Kim (Don) Blair, Amy Morel, Emily (Todd) Mashour, Meredith (Anders) Goranson, and Ryan (Megan) Mayhew; and four great-grandchildren Ann Miller Mayhew, Will Blair, Connor Goranson and Tate Mashour. Mr. William’s daughters would like to thank all of the caretakers whom have taken care of their father for the past 3 ½ years. Contributions may be offered to Ridgeway Baptist Church.
