Mr. Litton was a 1979 graduate of Memphis Preparatory School. He worked in the trucking industry for 30 years, most of it at ABF Freight. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Zane Litton, Sr., and his mother, Evelyn Pipkin Litton.
He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Joan Litton. In addition to his wife, he leaves his sister, Vicki Waldroop; his brother, Randy Litton (Elaine); his nieces, April (A.J.) Williamson, Carrie Litton, and Laura (Shawn) Gillenwater, and his nephew, Shawn Waldroop.
Al's faith was very important to him. In his earlier years, he attended Bethany Parkway United Methodist Church, and after marriage, he was a very active member of Rugby Hills Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 10th, at Family Funeral Care, Memphis, from 10:00 am until the service begins at 11:00 a.m.
Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritan’s Purse.
