Allen C. Jones

He was born in Memphis at Methodist Hospital, to the late G.C. and Mary Alice Jones on May 25, 1951. He graduated from University of Tennessee and University of Memphis Law School. He practiced Law for many years in Memphis and retired in 2017.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Jones; his son Benjamin Jones; beloved step-daughters Shelly Hopkins (Chris), Stevie Anderson (Chip), Shannon Somers (Marc); brother David Jones (Carolyn); sister Judith Christianson (Rick); and grandchildren Taylor, Peyton, Chance, Collin, Savannah, Chloe, JJ, and CJ. He was also predeceased by his son Paul. Being a Memphian for many years he is also survived by many relatives, friends, and associates too many to name, but treasured. Ms. Faye particularly befriended Allen in his last days and his office staff who carry on his practice.

The family wishes to thank the many family members and friends who helped during his last days and particularly the doctors and nurses at Methodist Hospital, Germantown. He went peacefully in the midst of great love and care. The family requests that memorial contributions in Allen's honor be sent to Methodist Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
