Amanda Kay Stoermer (Sisco), 59 departed Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Born on April 21, 1955 in Bolivar, TN; Amanda was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1973, and in 1993 graduated Memphis State University, Cumme Laude. She was also an honorary member of Phi Theta Kappa Society for scholastic achievement. Mrs. Stoermer is survived by her husband of 28 years, Michael J. Stoermer; mother Virginia Smalley Sisco; sisters Bonnie Rich, Mary Beth Sisco Lawing and Janice Sisco; brothers Lynn Sisco and David (Toni) Sisco; and many loving nieces and nephews. Amanda’s family will have a memorial service at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN on Friday, December 5th beginning at six o’clock in the evening; Jonathan Matthews of Memphis Funeral Home will lead the service. Following the memorial service the family will remain for a catered reception. Memorials in her honor may be offered to the American Cancer Society.
