Amye Bryan Porter, age 49 of Memphis, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013. She was born February 21, 1964 in Memphis to Arthur Aaron Bryan and Olga Norwood Bryan. Mr. Bryan has preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Ridgeway High School. Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Joe Porter; two daughters, Taylor Cook and Jessica Rye; her son, Robert Cook; her brother, Mike Bryan (Angela); her niece, Katelin Bryan; three nephews, Benjamin, Isaac, and Luke Bryan. Funeral services will be at Family Funeral Care located on Summer Avenue, 2 PM Saturday, October 5. Burial will follow at Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 PM till service time. Memorials may be to Calvary Chapel Memphis, c/o Pastor Phil Ferrell.
