AUBREY “Speedy” MADEWELL of Collierville, TN passed away April 17, 2014 at Methodist Hospital Germantown. Aubrey was the owner of River City Masonry, Inc., as second generation in the masonry industry. He was born December 5, 1955 and was a graduate of White Station High School. Aubrey was an avid fisherman who guided on the Tennessee River at Pickwick. He loved to travel with his family with Alaska being his favorite destination. Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents Aubrey and Estelle Madewell and sister Brenda Madewell. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janie Madewell, his son Justin Madewell (Becky), daughter, Jessica Jones (Ryan), grandchildren, Aiden and Hailey Madewell, and Caleb Jones; sisters, Peggy Williams, Linda Threet (Gettes), and Vicki Holladay (Larry). The family will receive friends Monday, April 21, 2014 from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m., all at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel.
