Audrey Cook Williford, 53, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away May 27, 2012 at her home. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 1, and funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, all at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue in Memphis. Audrey retired from Babies R Us, where she worked as the store manager for several years, and she held a bachelors degree in Nursing. She was passionate about helping animals in need and spending time with her precious family. Audrey was preceded in death by her mother, Ingrid Cook; and 2 sisters, Connie Cook Bratton and Maryanne Beard. She is survived by 2 children, Brian Cook and Brittnay Cook (and her fiancé, Roy Burcham); 2 grandsons, Hunter Cook and Logan Simmons; her father, George W. Cook; 3 nieces, Sasha Tierce, Kayla Bratton, and Kimberly Bratton; and her nephew, Brandon Tierce. Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to the Humane Society.
