

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on August 1, 1940, to the late George and Margaret Isbell, Barbara's life was defined by her love for family, her generous spirit, and her unwavering dedication to those she cherished most. She was preceded in death by her husband, John McDonald, and her sister, Peggy Wagner.
Barbara leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, survived by her daughters, Karen Carlisle, Tricia Snead (Doug), and Melissa Koski (Loren); her grandchildren, Courtney Bolton (John), Chance Carlisle (Jessica), Chase Carlisle (Elizabeth), Zane Snead, Isabell Snead, Morgan Koski, and Graham Koski; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Carlisle Bolton, Savannah Bolton, Simmons Bolton, Vivienne Bolton, Charlotte Carlisle, Amelia Gene Carlisle, Miles Carlisle, Tully Carlisle, Hall Carlisle, Livingston Carlisle, and her sister, Ann Douglass.
Barbara retired after 30 years from Ibank, where her hard work and dedication earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues. However, it was her family that truly filled her heart. Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She was especially fond of attending her grandchildren's sporting events, where her pride and excitement were always evident.
Known for her culinary talents, Barbara was an exceptional baker, famous for her delicious peanut butter brittle and toffee, which will be lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to enjoy them. She was also a master gardener, tending to her yard and garden with a passion that allowed her to create beautiful, vibrant spaces filled with life and color.
Barbara’s kind and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone she met, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
