She was preceded in death by her father Charlie Brown, her mother Leila Northcote Brown, and her son Mathew Herr.
She is survived by her son Mark Herr (Debra), her son Andy Herr (Alicia), her daughter Martha Witherspoon (Michael), three grandsons: Kevin, Kyle, and Andrew, and by three great-grandchildren.
In her youth she was a dental technician, later becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse employed at West Tennessee Chest Hospital in Memphis, and Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI.
A graveside family service will be held in Michigan, date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a children’s cause of your choice.
