Barbara "Perky" Rickman

Barbara “Perky” Rickman, 70, passed away June 12, 2020. Perky loved gardening and nurturing plants, inside and out. She enjoyed the outdoors and activities such as camping and canoeing. Perky loved poker, bunko, and the casinos. Perky worked for Nike for several years and later on for the Orpheum as a dresser. She also had a special love for her puppy, Kami. Perky was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Rickman; and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Eric Rickman (Velori), Jason Gammell, and Brad Gammell; grandchildren, Alek Rickman, Noah Leonard, and Ava Gammell; brother, Johnny Long; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive guests Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 1-2pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave., Memphis, TN 38122, with a memorial service immediately following.
