Barry Jones

Mr. Barry Jones was born to the union of the late Mr. Robert Jones and Mrs. Roxie Jones. He departed this life on Monday, November 4, 2019.

Barry was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Memphis, TN. Upon graduation, he served his country as a member of the armed forces. He traveled extensively, before settling in Los Angeles, California. He later moved back to Memphis, TN.

Barry joined Mississippi Boulevard Church. He confessed Christ under the leadership of Pastor Frank Anthony Thomas and later he united with St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Earl Shannon.

Barry was a very humorous, loving and sensitive person. He loved all kinds of music. He was a highly regarded electrician at Morgan Thornberg.

Barry was proceeded in death by two brothers, Joe E. Jones and Ashley Carpenter.

He leaves to mourn his passing three sisters, Jeanette J. Doss, Mae E. Wallace and Joann Carruther; three brothers Bradley Jones, (Shelia), Toscar Carpenter (Vicky) and Randy Wallace; his only surviving aunt Mrs. Mary Y, Shields a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; the special love of his life, Mrs. Shirley Langhart.
