Beautone Elizabeth Winsett

Beautone Elizabeth Winsett, went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2016 at the Memphis Jewish Home in Cordova, Tennessee. Born in Memphis on June 19, 1928, Beautone was the last of six children born to B.W. & Katherine Thornburg. A former member of Union Avenue Baptist Church, Mrs. Winsett is currently a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church. She loved to garden, shop, cook for her family and lately loved to paint. There will be a gathering for family and friends on Thursday, November 17 from five o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening and funeral services will be on Friday, November 18 beginning at ten o'clock in the morning all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Winsett was also preceded in death by her husband Carl Ray Winsett and granddaughter Amy. She is survived by her daughters Mary Blackwood (Gary) and Michele Holliday; granddaughters Ashley Gattozzi (Joe), Mary Catherine Holliday and Emily Holliday; great-grandchildren Chris Gattozzi (Sarah), Holly Gattozzi and Lilly Gattozzi; and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests any financial contributions in Beautone's honor be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Memphis Jewish Home.
