Bunny was born on June 28, 1933 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, the youngest of three children born to the late Robert & Bessie Ferguson Wood. She graduated from Holly Grove High School in May 1951. While working for Plough Incorporated in Memphis she met Malcolm D. Pressgrove, Jr. whom she then married on January 15, 1954. They were married for 63 years. She retired from Regions Bank as an administrator in private banking.

Along with her parents, Bunny was preceded in death by her siblings Louise Wood and Hilda Wood Davenport; her husband and daughter Jennifer Pearl Pressgrove.
She is survived today by her children Micki Pressgrove Wood of Memphis; Randy Pressgrove of Sayreville, New Jersey and Tim (Jeanne) Pressgrove of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 12 from nine o'clock in the morning until funeral services begin at ten o'clock all at Memphis Funeral Home at 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Burial with procession will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family suggests any financial donations in Bunny's name be sent to the Memphis Humane Society.
