Charbel Tanios Khoury, age 64, of Collierville, Tennessee, pilot for Endeavor Air, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Charbel was born May 9, 1957, in Beirut, Lebanon to Tanios Khoury and Jeannette Kahale.
Charbel was a longtime Endeavor Air employee of 34 years. He was adored by many of his colleagues and known for his charismatic personality. He made an impact on all he came in contact with and his dedication and willingness to give of himself was remarkable.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Michelle Isbell Khoury; daughter, Lindsey Khoury Marchese (Tony); son, Chase Compton Khoury; 4 sisters, Yollande Doumit (Joseph), Mirella Feghali (Georges), Pascale Abouchacra (Bchara), and Patricia Sadaka (Ziad); his first granddaughter (due in December), Charlie; best friend and close cousin, Charbel Abinajem; 15 nieces and nephews; and 9 great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Friday, October 29 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, in the Life Remembrance Center of Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar Chapel, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN.
Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, October 30 at 12:00 PM at the Catholic Church of the Incarnation, 360 Bray Station Road, Collierville, TN 38017, Rosary service at 11:30 AM.
There will be a catered reception to immediately follow from 1:30 until 3:30 PM, also at the Catholic Church of the Incarnation, 360 Bray Station Road, Collierville, TN 38017. The family would love for everyone to attend, share memories, laugh, cry, and fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
