Kenneth and I are devastated to hear about the passing of our dear friend, Charles.  We cannot find the words that will give you comfort and peace. Just know that we are praying for you and family. Charles was a special friend to our family.  Kenneth and I share many wonderful and fun memories with you and Charles, and he will forever be in our hearts. I remember the last time we seen each other was as at mama house and you were just getting there bringing her something. I worked with Charles for over 20 years on the same team at NASA.  He was more than a colleague and he poured into everyone he met, especially us young, new, African American engineers. The lessons he gave us in life are timeless and still have meaning. Charles was a truly great man, a mentor, talented engineer, loving and faithful father, husband and a genuine friend. He will truly be missed.

My uncle was a loving, caring, and devoted man. He always were the for family and friends. His family means the world to him. I often talked to him, but I always caught him while he was traveling. Our last conversation was about how his trips was with Aunt Brenda to Saint Martin. He was telling me how much he enjoyed himself. Then we talk about him making a trip to Minnesota to see us, he were so excited he had everything ready. My uncle had now gained his wings. My heart hurts! Charles was a truly exceptional individual, whose selfless dedication to others' success was inspiring. His vast knowledge and insight on numerous subjects were a testament to his remarkable character.

 Your lasting impact at NASA, particularly at the Marshall Space Flight Center, will not be forgotten.
