

Charles Junior Hardin, age 90, of Eads, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Charles was born on November 23, 1934 in Banner, Mississippi to Eugene Crowley Hardin and Maedell Barfield Hardin. He loved horses and enjoyed camping and boating with his sons, earlier in life. A hard worker, Charlie retired from Dixico Printing Company, Inc. after over 40 years of service. He never met a stranger and was often called on by his neighbors to help repair small engines. He enjoyed listening to Elvis Gospel and the Oak Ridge Boys and grew up attending Barfield family gatherings where they all sang gospel hymns. Charlie was a proud cousin of Harold Jenkins (aka "Conway Twitty").
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy Gramlick Hardin; son, Michael Hardin (Teresa); nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and his sister, Janie Hardin Gross. He was preceded in death by his sons, Charles Kenneth Hardin and Dennis Joe Hardin; and siblings, Louise Hardin Barnett, Christine Hardin Lee, Billy Hardin, Raymond Hardin, Roland Hardin, Otis Hardin, and Jimmy Hardin.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 11 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM, at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. Graveside will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
