Charles "Charlie" Thomas

Charles “Charlie” Wilson Thomas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 13, 2025, at the age of 61. Charlie was a loving husband to his wife, Jeanne, of 30 years and a proud father to his two daughters, Claire and Elizabeth.

Charlie was born on April 22, 1964, in Jackson, Mississippi. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School. He graduated from Mississippi State University, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. Charlie began his life long career in the building materials industry which lead him to Memphis, TN. He was known for his integrity, hard work, and commitment. His work ethic and dedication to his career left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working with him or for him at Sunrise Builders Supply.

Charlie was an active member of Christ Covenant Reformed Church. Whether in his community, his workplace, or within his family, Charlie lived out his faith in Christ through kindness, humility, and service to others.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne; his daughters, Claire Wilkinson (Quay) and Elizabeth Thomas; his mother, Faye Thomas; and his brothers, Richard Thomas Jr., Nick Thomas, Chris Thomas and Paul Thomas (Inez). He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Thomas.

A visitation will take place at Independent Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN, on Friday, September 19, at 10:30 am followed by a service at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ Covenant Reformed Church in Memphis, TN or Joni and Friends in memory of Charles.
