Born 57 years ago on Valentine's Day, Chris Kirchoff won the hearts of everyone he met. He was a child of exceptional promise, but an auto accident when he was 6 years old, left him profoundly disabled. While the accident took so much from Chris, it could not take away his joy in life, his amazing sense of humor and his faith in God. He lived the last 36 years at Kings Daughters and Sons Home where he was known for his laughter, his unique singing style, his participation in every activity, those constant DVD reruns of Emergency and CHIPS, and his gratitude for all of his caregivers. A sudden cardiac event took his life on December 17. He is survived by his parents, Rick and Jane, his sister Julie, multiple relatives and his KDSH family. A Celebration of Life is planned for 11:00 am, Saturday, December 21 at Germantown UMC, 2331 S. Germantown Rd. Visitation from 10:00 am- 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kings Sons and Daughters Home, 3568 Appling, Bartlett, TN.
