92, Constance Merrill passed away July 22, 2024. She was a member of New Friendship
M.B. C. for over 50 years. As a dedicated soldier’s wife, she followed and supported her
husband over 50 years until he preceded her in death. She loved to to sew and garden. To
her children, she was just mom as she supported us in any endeavor we tried. She worked
with PTA, PWOC, sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and enjoyed serving her family
and God. Rest in peace as the family who loves you returns you back to God who loves you
more.
A visitation service for Constance will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at M. J. Edwards Funeral Home, 1165 Airways Blvd., Memphis, TN 38114. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at New Friendship M. B. Church, 1490 Gold Avenue, Memphis, TN 38106. An interment will occur Monday, August 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM at West TN Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125.
