Daisy accepted Christ at an early age. She attended North Side High School, where she graduated in 1972. She was employed with Shelby County Jail for fifteen years, where she retired in 2017.
Daisy Isby leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Winnie Nelson; her daughter, Patricia Isby; grandson, Lerenzo Isby; great-grandsons, Christian, Caleb, and Caydence Isby; siblings, Patricia Isby, Frankie Murray, Terry Curry, McKinley Murray, Olivia Smith, Phyllis Turnage, and Randy Isby; her nieces, Tina Isby, Crystal Bowen, Cassandra Nelson, and Desiree Nelson; her nephews, Terry Murray, and Bennie Bowen; close family friends, Michael Baker, Angelica Griffin, TL Bracey, Diannah Hamer, and Ranesa Davis, and a host of other family members and friends.
Daisy was preceded in death by two siblings, David Nelson and Christine Brady.
