He attended Messick High School and Mid - America Seminary. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran, a mail carrier for the US Postal Service, and for 52 years served God as a Southern Baptist Pastor.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Shirley A. Prince (Craig); his parents, Joseph and Evelyn (Cloud) Prince; sisters, Joann Miller and Martha Sue Hargett; brother, James Prince and granddaughter, Priscilla Huffman Poirier (Andrew). He is survived by his daughters, Paula Prince Huffman (Stanley) and Kellie Hodges (Chris); granddaughters, Esther Ming (Scott) and Maclaren Hodges; great grandchildren, Nate and Jenna Kate Poirier, and Grace Ming.
A private graveside service for the immediate family only will be at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd., Memphis, TN 38134.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the National Kidney Foundation.
