Soror Brown, I was sorry to hear about the death of Deacon Daniel B. Brown. I will continue to keep you and your family in prayer. Your husband lived, walked, talked and conducted himself as a true Christian. I had great respect for Deacon Brown for the way he always conducted himself throughout his life.  He always tried to be, do and give his best. In high school he was an outstanding classmate, at Lane College he was a dear and supportive friend of my brother, and through my religious work with his mother, I found him to be a devoted son.  He lived a rich life sharing God and demanding greatness from others.  Soror Brown, may precious memories, your husband and your mutual love, and  God's love help you through.

I am so very sorry to hear of Deacon Dan’s death.   I always enjoyed his wonderful homilies.  He was a great RCIA  instructor and always full of inspiration.  He will truly be missed.  I am keeping your family in my prayers.
