Deborah loved sewing, working in her garden, dancing, cooking and watching cooking shows. Deborah liked having fun; never missed a Cooper-Young Festival and was always the life of the party.
She is survived by a son, Jayson Simpson of Memphis, TN; a granddaughter, Mallory (Daniel) Menard of Oxford, MS; a grandson, Jacob Simpson of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Barbara
(Robert) Grodzicki of Troy, IL, Melissa Garner of Lexington, TN; niece Dena (Mark) Rowe of Troy, IL; great-niece Kayleigh Hydron of Highland, IL and Cierra Robinson of El Paso, TX; two great-great nephews, Devon Dean, Maverick Kleinik and her two dogs, Cherokee and Hercules.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Cleta Garner; and a brother Randale Garner.
A graveside service will take place at 2 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Tennessee with Daniel Menard officiating.
