Dorothy Sue Medlin, 88, of Memphis TN passed away Friday, January 5, 2018. She was born in Jackson, TN on November 9, 1929 to Willis M. and Odis (Vaughan) Greer. She was a retired billing clerk and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Sue is survived by her husband of 65 years, Myron Medlin; one son Stephen Myron Medlin of Cordova TN; grandchildren Landon (Heather) Medlin and Lauren (Scott) Edwards all of Cordova TN; great grandchildren Caitlyn Medlin and Christian Edwards both of Cordova TN; sisters Pat Warren of Lexington, TN and Shirley Mullins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother Billy Wray Greer of Jackson, TN. The family will receive friends Monday, January 22 from 9:00 - 10:00 am with funeral services starting at 10:00 a.m. all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. A graveside service will follow at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN. Staff celebrant Jonathan Matthews will lead all the services.
