Dorothy C Waters

Dorothy Conder Waters, 83, died peacefully on April 25, 2014 at Greenfield Senior Living, Memphis, TN. She was a member of Frayser Baptist Church where she served faithfully for many years. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Guy E. Waters to whom she was married for 60 1/2 years who loved and cared for her every day, a daughter, Carol Douglas (Darrell) of Germantown, TN, and a son Greg Waters (Regina) of Jackson, TN who loved her dearly. She leaves her grandchildren whom she adored, Brian Douglas of Cordova, TN, Nicole Douglas of Memphis, TN, Lora Manley (Michael) of Cordova, TN, and Joshua Waters of Jackson, TN. She also leaves her precious great grandson Noah Manley of Cordova, TN. She leaves behind her brother in law, sisters in law and a host of nieces and nephews all who loved her very much. Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Manley W. Conder, mother, Edith W. Conder, and sister, Norma C. Tyson. The family will receive friends Monday, April 28, 2014 from 1-2pm and a Celebration of Life service will follow at 2pm all at Family Funeral Care. 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis. Interment will be held at a later date at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
